ArchiMed implementation — from site survey to commissioning certificate
Turnkey deployment of PACS, RIS and the DICOM viewer: pre-project survey, design, installation, modality connection, integration with the hospital information system (HIS) and migration of the legacy archive.
Scope of work
What an implementation project includes
The ArchiMed implementation team consists of a project manager, a PACS engineer, an integration engineer (HL7/FHIR), a system architect and an account manager. All work is broken down into phases and recorded in the project schedule.
IT infrastructure audit — survey of the network, servers, modality fleet, existing HIS and workload.
Deployment and installation — installation of the PACS server, RIS and workstations; setup of backup and the DR site.
Modality connection — DICOM configuration of CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, mammography and C-arm units.
HIS / EGISZ integration — exchange of referrals and reports via HL7 v2 / FHIR / REST with the HIS and EGISZ (Unified State Health Information System of Russia); export to RRIS (regional radiology information systems).
Archive migration — transfer of historical studies from the legacy PACS via C-MOVE / DICOMDIR without loss of tags or links.
Pilot and acceptance — pilot operation, load testing, acceptance testing, go-live in production.
